Who’s going to win it all? Who will be the big upset of the tournament? What color jersey wins, red or blue? Should I vote soley on rank or does experience count?
These are the questions running through our minds this week as we fill in our brackets. Mike, my Mom, my nephew Christian, some people from Mike’s office, and I did an “office” pole. I’m pretty sure I’m going to take it this year! I studied all the teams. I know all their strengths and weaknesses. I’m pretty sure the 30 seconds I thought about will ensure I win the $60 jack pot prize.
All I really want is to beat Mike. He gets so frustrated when that happens, I love it!
Mike left Monday for a two day trip to Utah.
Having my parents here for a whole week never happens. It was a little bummer that they missed out on the weekend. My kids are super busy during the week. But, we made every second count. My dad hung a lot of pictures and décor that I had here-to-for been unable to get Mike to hang. Fabulous. It was fun to have them get to know my babies. They both really warmed up to them.
Mom and Dad left Friday morning. Friday evening was the talent show at Harbins. Alyssa, Natalia, and Andrea did a comedy routine. Patrick built some lockers for them to pop in and out of to deliver their jokes. They did a really great job. They had the audience rolling in the aisle. Savannah and Gabby sang the song “For Good” from Wicked. It was really beautiful. They did the harmony and the polyharmonic perfectly. I had several people come up to me afterward and express how great they thought it was.
