Alyssa's birthday party

After we got home from the beach we had a birthday party for Alyssa. She wanted a sleepover party and so that’s what we did. She invited a few friends over and we took them to the mall for lunar mini golf. Then we headed back home for cake, gifts, art projects, & Sleep?
Alyssa was happy and it was interesting to see how many of them gave her “best friends” jewelry? Almost all of them. Alyssa is a good friend. She always has her friends back, and they appreciate it.

Baugh-Lings Beach Vacation

Scott and Amy Billings are our best friends ever! They've known us our whole loves and still love us!!! Shocking, I know. We've been talking about going on vacation together for a few years, and finally this was the year. They flew in to Atlanta and we drove to Navarre Beach, Florida. We spent 4 days at the beach and it was perfect. Their girls are stair steps of my girls. So, everyone had a friend, and Logan had Mom and Dad.

Alyssa's 10th Birthday- June 28

Alyssa's birthday fell on the exact day that we were leaving for the beach! So, we....

Savannah gave her a gift every hour of our car trip. I was really proud of her. She planned and saved and wrapped and was so excited to surprise Alyssa with this gift. Alyssa was well entertained in the car.

Alyssa is a special girl. I love so many things about her. I love that she is very determined. When she truly wants something she is willing to sacrifice whatever is needed to do it. She is talented. She has a beautiful singing voice and becoming a great guitar player. Alyssa cannot be swayed in her opinions. While this is sometimes frusterating, it is something that I love about her. When she knows what is right, she cannot be talked out of it. She doesn't let her friends are anyone else tell her what to think.

I love my beautiful girl. She is a true blessing in our family.
