Pumpkin patch with Grandma and Grandpa- Oct.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the crisp autumn air. I love my pumpkin spice candles. I love the fall feelings. Most of all I love the colors and how cute my kids look in them. This year Jay and Kathy came out to celebrate Logan's birthday with us. So, we took a trip to Burt's pumpkin patch.Here are the highlights:

Savannah Cross Country- Sept-Oct.

Savannah chose to run cross country for Athens Academy this fall. She did great. Savannah is a natural runner. She has the long lean body and great stride. The course is about 2.5 miles and she can run it easily. She got to hang out with lots of her friends and they all enjoyed flirting with their college aged coach!

At the beginning of one of the races Savannah got pushed, fell down, and got trampled! I was so proud of my tough baby. She got up fast as a flash and even though she was hurting and had road rash everywhere, she ran the whole race. She didn't want to talk to me after, she was mad. But, later I expressed to her how proud I was of her. I told her that everyone at that school learned something about Savannah Baugh that day. Savannah is no wimp. She's not a quiter. She is reliable. When she starts something, she finishes it. I told her not to be surprised when she went to school the next day that every teacher would know what happened and be proud of her. She received an e-mail that night from her coach expressing her gratitude for Savannah and what an example she is to her friends. And sure enough, the next day, every teacher made a fuss over her and told her how proud of her they were.

Alyssa academy soccer Aug-Nov.

We decided that Alyssa was ready to join the Academy soccer club in Dacula. The decision was made because she was not in the same age group any more as her awesome coaches of last year. It was a hard decision to make because we knew that some of the games would be on Sundays. We had just gotten out of the situation with Savannah and her gymnastics and now here we went again. Luckily for Alyssa they always had a Saturday game and a Sunday game. So, she didn't really feel like she was missing out on much.
Academy was not exactly everything that we had hoped it would be. We had been super spoiled by our coaches last year. But, Alyssa continues to enjoy it and we love watching her play. She even made a couple of goals!
