I don’t think I’m going to win the brackets any more. I had Kansas winning the whole thing and they lost in the 2nd round! What the world?!?!
This week was just a normal week. Whatever that looks like? Gym, school, piano, chorus, whitzle pro… On Tuesday afternoon we went to the county school offices to see and art exhibit featuring Savannah’s self portrait. Then we went to I-hop for dinner. It was a fun family “home” evening.

Mike left on Friday morning to go to Houston to watch the Southern Regional Finals. This was his Christmas gift from me. He met his friend Scott Billings and they had a “guys” weekend. Their first game Friday was a blow-out, but the second one was neck and neck the whole time. Their seats were great and they had fun.
Saturday Mike walked on the beach and played 18 holes of golf.
I cleaned the house and at noon got an addition to the family for the day. Brooks spent the day with us and learned what it’s like to be in a big family. I think he liked it. We played outside and went to the park. I brought one of my sweet young women along with me to help me keep tabs on my 5 kids.
We must have been quite a sight walking down to the playground. When we got all settled and the kids were all playing, a little girl came up to me and said,
“Whoa, you gotta lotta kids, huh.”
“Yes, I do.” I answered.
“Yes, you do.” She answered back.
After a dinner of spaghetti Savannah informed me that it was a good thing I only have 4 kids.
“I just don’t think you’re up to 5 Mom. Good thing you stopped at 4.” I thought I did a pretty good job.
Sunday I didn’t feel so great so we all stayed home. Don’t get mad, Dad. I played hooky from church!!!
