Peter Pan- Aug. 2012

When I was in the 8th grade my mom took Karen and I to Salt Lake to see Peter Pan on stage.  It was a big deal to Karen because her school was going to perform Peter Pan as their musical that year.  It was a big deal to me because the part of Peter Pan was being played by olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby.
This year I got to take my girls to Atlanta to see Peter Pan on stage.  It was a big deal because they got to see Cathy Rigby play the part of Peter Pan!  This woman has been playing this part for 30 years!!!  She's still got it.  She flies around doing flips and back walk overs.  She does handstands on the furniture.  She looks really young on stage, but when we met her face to face, she looked a little more frail.
What a fun experience to share with my girls.
I'LL NEVER GROW UP!!!  I hope they won't either.
