Savannah's 8th grade dance- Feb. 2013

Savannah's school does a Valentine's dance.  All the 7th and 8th graders dress up nice, have dinner, and then dance the night away (Until 10:00).  It was challenging to find a dress that she liked and that was modest.  I think we found the perfect one.  She looks so beautiful in blue.  It brings out the color of her eyes and the red hair helped too.  Super cute kids.  Super fun night.

Alyssa's pre-season soccer tournament Feb. 2013

Alyssa plays on the Academy team at the Dacula Soccer Club.  She has been so blessed to be put on a team with a group of girls that LOVE each other.  They get along on and off the field.  They trust each other on and off the field.  The come from a million different backgrounds but they are best friends.  I love hearing them shouting "good job" or "YES" while they're playing.  Alyssa needs to be surrounded by girls who can see all the good in her.  She has found that in her soccer team.

Logan Time Mondays- Feb. 2013

This year I've got Emma Grace in Preschool 5 days and Logan in 4 days.  So, that means that Mondays and Logan and Mommies day of fun!  I try really hard to do all my shopping and cleaning on different days so that Mondays can be all about Logan.  One of our favorite activities is to go to Catch Air with friends.  It's a kid sized jump and play gym.  They have lots of slides and swings and a dance floor that lights up when you move.  It's fun.  We like it.  Being a mom is the best.  Love my favorite buddy boy.

Annie- Starring Savannah Mae- Feb. 2013

Savannah was given the enormous opportunity and responsibility to play Annie in the middle school play.  She was so excited and worked so hard.  She really had to carry the show on her back.  She did a fantastic job.  The show was a huge success.  Nothing but praise for my little orphan Annie.  Working with a real dog was a challenge.  But, she handled it like a champ.  I'm so happy that my kids are getting to express their talents in such a positive way.  A highlight for me came after the play when all the little girls ran up to her to ask for her autograph.  Proud mama, happy girl.

Savannah "Dyes" for her art- Feb 2013

Savannah was cast as Annie for her middle school play.  Super exciting.  As part of the costume, she had to dye her hair!!!  She was VERY nervous.  I have asked her before if she would like to have highlights put in.  The answer was always NOOOO!!!  So, this all over color was a super big stretch for her.  I think it looks super cute.

Logan's preschool Valentines Day party- February 2013

Logan's Valentine's Day party was fun.  And, it was the same weekend as Savannah's middle school play.  Which meant that Granny & Grandad were there too.  Super fun.  Cutest Love bug at the party.

40 on 40- February 2013

Mike decided that on his 40th birthday that he should travel 40 miles on his own steam.  He did it triathlon style.  He swam, biked and ran for 40 miles.  He is one incredible man.  Ollie did pretty great, too.
