Happy Easter!

This year we had our 8th annual Easter Egg hunt! It was fun and simple to put together. It's a great party to host. We invite everyone we know and everyone we would like to know. We ask everyone to drop off a few eggs. We add a few hundred more to the pile. Mike hides the eggs. I buy the food. Friends come. fun is had by all. The best part is the great pictures.

Every year Mike prepares some "Golden Eggs" to keep the older kids interested in the hunt. They hide the eggs SO HARD this year. It took them a really long time to find them. It was great. We had a few kids that were certain that Mr. Mike was playing another joke on them. In the end all 9 Goldens were located. It was fun to have all of our friends over for a fun morning.

When I was the age my kids are I knew what Easter was really about. However, it has just been a few years since I truely appreciate what Easter is really about. I'm so grateful to know that this life is not all there is. I have faith that I will see all of my loved ones again and that we can live together as a family in the next life. I'm so grateful for this knowledge. I'm thankful for our Savior that showed us the way to return to our Father in Heaven.
