Things I don't want to forget

Yesterday Savannah got her Herbst appliance put in. It is really quite cumbersome to her. The thing is massive! She's trying to have a good attitude, but she broke down in tears several times last night and this morning. I really don't blame her.

Alyssa is a very tender hearted little lady. She wants so badly to take care of Savannah. Last night the three of us (me, Alyssa, and Savannah) were talking on Alyssa's bed. Alyssa got this funny look on her face and just blurted out, "I just love you guys. Is it OK if I just hug you?" She gave me a big long hug and one to her sister as well. I feel that way sometimes too. My feelings are just too huge to be contained. I was glad that her BIG feelings were loving ones.

This morning Mike gave Savannah a blessing to help her with her writing test at school as well as with her mouth. The girls and I were there with them. After the blessing Mike was telling his girls how much he loved them and wishing them a happy day. When he got to Emma Grace he asked her if she was going to nice to Lo-Lo today. She sighed and said, "No." It was so cute and true and funny. All of us busted up. He then asked if she could at least try to nice. She replied, "OK Daddy. I lub you."

Mike told me last night that he knows my job is hard and that he knows it frustrating sometimes. He then told me that he knows it's the most important job in the whole world and that he's glad I'm willing to do it. I'm glad to be married to a man who respects motherhood. He's the best. Love you.
