Happy New Year!

As I wrote my "year in review" post I caught myself hoping that 2010 could be a little less dramatic.

Dream on.

January 1, 2010 while shopping for furniture Emma Grace somehow fell out of a recliner. The ear piercing scream that immediately followed was clue enough for both of her parents to know that she was REALLY hurt. I scooped her up and tryed my best to comfort her. 30 minutes later and no let down in the tears we decided to take our first and hopefully last trip of the year to the ER.

3 x-rays later we were told that it is very rare for a baby her age to actually break a finger. She sprained it pretty bad and she wont' use it at all. Poor baby. She forgets that it's hurt until she puts pressure on it. Kisses and snuggles are now enough to comfort my sweet girl. But, tonight before she went to bed, she informed me that it was time for her medicine.
